Temple of Israel is the oldest Jewish house of worship in North Carolina.  We are a Reform congregation located in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington.

We strive to provide a meaningful and fulfilling environment for worship, education, and social interaction, following the principles and values of Reform Judaism, including commitment to God, Torah and Israel; and to enhance the lives of our congregants and our community. The temple offers a variety of activities including sabbath services, religious school for children, education for learners of all ages, social action programs and social events with many ways to get involved.

Our congregation is based on inclusiveness, where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, marital status, sexual orientation, a Jew by birth or by choice.
